It is with pride I announce my new album "Yesterday and Me" will release in April of 2018!

This album not only is close to my heart becasue of it's content, it has a pedigree to put any show dog to shame. A few highlights of this are musical contributions from the likes of Walt Wilkins, Jason Eady, Dick Gimble, Ray Rodriguez, Geoff Queen, Bukka Allen and many others. I also had the priveledge of using a pack of musicans who are very dear to me, I cannot wait to show you the genuine music I truly feel these bonds created. Here's to country music! - Kayla Ray

Thanks to Justin Frazell and 95.9 the Ranch I had the unbelievable experience of playing BILLY BOB's with Zane Williams, Whitey Morgan, and Cody Jinks. Following the gig we saw Jason Eady and Courtney Patton at the Live Oak theater, and we all had the most incredible meal ive ever eaten. To say it was one for the books is an understatement! I hope so much I get to make music with these fine folks again very soon!!

This summer I have been thousands of miles played LOTS of shows, met incredible people, won a few awards, played my first radio tour, released my first singe, over come the flu, and many other wild and crazy things. • Radio and More...

Wow! This past month has gone by rather quickly! We have played lots of fun shows and have met many new friends! This past weekend, John Dempsy and I played an acoustic duo at Elwood's in Tulsa. It is a very cool outdoor venue next to a river. On Saturday night, we played a full band show at Circle T Arena in Hamilton, Texas. Once again, it was a very cool venue and we had a very fun crowd, with lots of dancing taking place.

On March 30th, "South Side of Town" went to radio and it is doing well. We thank every station, program director, DJ and listener for your overwhelming support of the single. Please keep requesting it!!!

Also, this week, I found out that I will be playing on 106.9 The Ranch's RANCH ROADHOUSE on May 17th. I am very excited about this opportunity, and I am so thankful that Jim Nash and his station have asked me to perform on this wonderful show!

Great things are happening! Please stay tuned!!!

  • Fun Times!

The past week has been a blast! We had a good time playing for the good folks at the Happy Cow in Hunter, Texas on Saturday night. We also were able to be a part of a benefit for a little girl who is fighting cancer. That took place Sunday at Red's Roadhouse in Kennedale! Afterward, we stopped in and played a bit for the folks at Hoots in Rendon. What a fun time! Yesterday, I played at SXSW at the Lit Lounge in Austin. The whole day was a wonderful experience!

I am looking forward to the next four days of shows, starting tomorrow evening. We play some familiar places and some new venues. This Saturday, I am fortunate to play a new venue, the White Eagle Music Hall in Bremond, Texas. The week wraps up Sunday at the Vineyard at Gruene. Exciting things are happening and we don't expect things to slow down. I am so blessed to be doing what I love!

  • Hey Everyone!

Hey everyone! I wanted to fill you in on some of the band's happenings. We have been keeping busy, playing when and wherever we can. We are adding shows all across Texas and working on some out of state runs as well. We will be playing some new places in the DFW area, out west, down south, and we are very excited about having the opportunity to play an event at Baylor's McLane Stadium on April 25th!

Some exciting new for us, we will be releasing "South Side of Town" to widespread radio on March 30th. I will be doing a radio promotion tour to coincide with the radio release. I am so proud of this song and feel so fortunate that I was able to sing with the amazing Jason Eady on this record. Keep your fingers crossed that the song does great things! Thank you again, my friends, for supporting our music!

  • Steamboat Springs, CO

Happy 2014 everyone!! I hope y'all had a great end to 2013 and are ready for the fantastic year ahead of us that is 2014! The past month has flown by, as I've been in the studio laying tracks for my debut album that is set to be released April 2014. I can't think of a better way to get the year started than to put out an album and hit the road runnin' to share all of the tunes with y'all live!

This week, I'm on the road with Jason Eady as we brave the cold of Colorado in Steamboat Springs for Music Fest. Although I'm as Texan as they come, this weather makes me even prouder to call Texas home! It's been a long van ride up to Steamboat Springs, but it has been a blast. Even though it is cold here, the state of Colorado really is a beautiful place. Here's a shot of us all on the road...

It took a whopping 21 hours to get here, but we made it safely and are ready for an exciting week! I'll keep you updated when we get back to town. Come out and see me at C&R Sports Bar on Wednesday, January 15th!!
